Sixth Generation Volkswagen Polo to Offer In-Car Qi Wireless Charging

Volkswagen Group has this month announced that in-car wireless smartphone charging will be offered as an optional extra in their sixth generation Polo range.

The mobile phone interface not only has a hands-free infotainment system but also Qi wireless charging function, to power up the smartphone battery while apps and navigation are in use. iPhone users can benefit from the wireless charging technology with the addition of the ‘Made for iPhone’ Aircharge case.
