Apple announced the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max supporting wireless charging at launch event in San Francisco
The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max are Apple’s new flagship smartphones, featuring the new ‘Pro’ design and specifications, including upgraded camera, display and processor.
As their predecessors, all the three devices have been confirmed integrating Qi-Certified wireless charging. Apple introduced inductive charging to its iPhone range with the launch of the 10th anniversary iPhone X model in 2017, presented alongside the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. These models were then followed by the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR in 2018 and the second-generation AirPods in March this year. Apple’s announcement follows the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 10+, LG G8X ThinQ and Huawei P30 Pro, all supporting wireless charging earlier this year.
Aircharge offers an extensive range of Apple-compatible wireless charging accessories, such as the Fast Dual Charger, allowing to charge both the iPhone and AirPods simultaneously, and the sophisticated Executive Fast Wireless Charger, with its aluminium body and glass finish.
In addition to the new iPhone models, Apple also announced the new iPad, Apple Watch 5 series, new video game subscription service Apple Arcade and a one year free subscription to Apple TV Plus on all new product purchased. With mobile gaming and content on-demand being at the core of Apple’s offering, owner of the new devices will be pleased to be able to keep them fully powered and connected when on the go, by simply downloading the Aircharge app and topping up the battery at any of the over 5,000 public locations Aircharge is available at, such as restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, airports and train stations.
