Hello CES 2020

As we enter not only a new year, but a brand new decade, we look back on how far technology has come over the past 10 years and imagine with great enthusiasm what the next 10 years will bring.
Along with high quality digital streaming services and USB-C and QR codes, Wireless Charging has been recognised as one of the significant inventions of the decade that helped propel us into the future with products ranging from wireless charging mobile devices through to vehicles. The age of cables seems to be moving behind us as talks of a completely port free iphone, and table tops that power kitchen appliances wirelessly.

 
Wireless charging also presented new opportunities for businesses to leverage the need for power and evolve with technology. McDonald’s in particular took full advantage as they introduced Aircharge wireless charging units into over 550 restaurants globally enabling their customers to effortlessly top up their phones whilst they eat. Many other businesses such as Airport and Hotel companies have also used Aircharge to improve their customer experience by offering wireless charging services in their establishments. Aircharge on public transport has also allowed train and bus companies to offer new and advanced technologies to their passengers in order to stand out amongst the rest.

As the largest consumer electronics show in the world, CES has always played an important role in the announcement and introduction of these technologies that shaped the last decade. And as we enter 2020 we’re excited to see what new revolutionary technology is showcased next.

For the 4th year running, Aircharge are proud to be exhibiting at CES 2020 where we will be showcasing our latest wireless and IoT technologies, giving visitors and other exhibitors a taste of how Aircharge are the leading experts in wireless charging technology.
