Mini Release New Countryman Range with Qi Wireless Charging Technology

Mini (BMW) have revealed wireless charging will be available as an optional extra on their second generation Mini Countryman which is released in the UK this week.

The add-on provides enhanced Bluetooth connectivity with Qi wireless charging for smartphones or iPhones fitted with an Aircharge wireless charging case. The option includes an interface for hands-free telephone calls built into the centre armrest which has the ability to charge compatible mobile phones wirelessly to ensure the battery stays topped up during the journey.
